A Friday Post....On A Sunday

As you can tell by the title of the post, I am a little late with this post.But it's only by a couple of days and it's the week-end so I knew nothing on the house was going to change.

They don't usually work on the week-ends.

OK,what happened on Friday you might ask?

Lets look at some pictures and you will see.....

There are the new forms that were poured to help support the house.This turned out to be an extra job, which will result in an extra cost.But it needed to be done to be up to code, so we had no choice.So Friday they filled in the hole and leveled it off. They also leveled the driveway off and it looks better,well as good as a sand driveway can look that is.

We have some windows now!!OK they are all not in yet,but it's a start.

These would be the windows for the front of the house.I am not too sure when they are going to put them in,but they are here for when they are ready. 

One more of the windows.I am pretty sure this is for the front as well.

Our son pointing into his new room,which would be our old room.Actually he wanted me to take the picture to show you that, we came through the window to get into the new part of the house.Before you had to climb the ladder and go through the window in the new bedroom to get into the addition.But now they have it closed off(window) and this was the only way in.

Took this picture just to let you know that these are Energy Star windows,in case you were wondering.We did have that energy audit done last August and they are coming back for the second evaluation in October.Hopefully everything will be done by then.Scary to think if it is not!

Now what we have in this picture is where they have busted through the wall, looking into the old part of the house.This is where the new hallway is going to be.

That wraps up the picture portion of the post.Now for the part were I blab on and on and maybe do some bitching as well.

I am kidding!

It is late so I will spare you off that.Anyway tomorrow is a holiday and I don't think they will be at the house,so I will need something to write about.

I will save the bitching for then!
